This is Snail Bob unblocked: the HTML5 game runs above, served from snailbob.org itself, so it plays in an ordinary browser tab on a school Chromebook, a laptop or a phone. It is free, with no download and no account, and Snail Bob 2 to 6 are one click away.
Snail Bob: a puzzle where the hero never waits for you
Snail Bob starts with a simple problem: Bob needs a new house. The level map is called Long Way Home, and it is 20 small machines in a row, each one a screen with an entrance pipe on the left and an exit sign on the right. Bob comes out of the pipe and starts crawling. He does not stop to let you think.
You never move Bob directly. You click the things around him. A lever lifts a wooden post out of his way, a button fires a spring under him, a switch drops a bridge or starts a lift. The one thing you can do to Bob himself is click him: he pulls into his shell and stops until you click him again. The x1 and x2 buttons at the top left set how fast he crawls.
Every level starts at 301 points and loses one point every half second, so a level solved in a minute and a half is worth about 120. The score of each finished level is kept in your browser and added up on the map as your total score. Later levels bring conveyor belts, lifts, bridges on ropes, balloons, a hydraulic press, radiation, lava and fire.

How to think in Snail Bob
- Stop him first: At the start of a new level, click Bob right away. He hides, you get time to look, and nothing moves until you are ready.
- Read the machine from left to right: Each level is a chain: the thing nearest Bob usually has to happen first. Look for the dotted circles; they mark every part you can click.
- Timing beats speed: Many buttons only work when Bob is standing on the right spot, like the spring in level 1. Wait until he is on it, then click.
- Use x2 only when the path is clear: x2 saves points on long walks, but a fast Bob reaches a trap before you can react. Switch back to x1 near moving parts.
- Restart is free: A failed try costs nothing but the points already lost. If you missed the timing, restart instead of waiting for Bob to fall.
- Points are about time: The counter starts at 301 and drops by two every second. Plan while Bob is hidden, then play the level in one go.
Key features

- The whole series: Snail Bob 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are here too, in their original Flash files on Ruffle.
